2022 Estate Pinot Noir
A blend from 3 of our 4 estate vineyards, primarily from the Kendal Grace Vineyard, and includes Brady Vineyard and Glenn Vineyard. Kendal Grace Vineyard sits higher in elevation, peaking at 555', the North section is among the cooler sections of this vineyard. Brady Vineyard is home to our Dijon clones, 667 can be found in this blend, helping to accentuate those juicy red fruit notes!
Tasting notes
Currants, luxardo cherry, graham cracker toast and earth aromas and flavors. A light body with bright fruit and a finish of anise and baking spice.
Balanced fruit and tannin makes this perfect for a loaded charcuterie spread, sparing no aged, hard cheeses & cured meats or cedar plank grilled salmon.
Production notes
Destemmed directly into a fermentor bin. We have daily punchdowns for a gentle extraction. We ferment to dry and press off the skins to then age in a range of neutral and new french oak barrels for 18 months.
Other notes
The Vintage:
2021 was a warm and dry vintage, cooling near the end to allow slow and even ripening with concentration, high sugars and fresh acidity, making an early harvest in the Willamette Valley!
